Aaron’s commercial real estate experience started nearly 20 years ago, after spending 4 years working in various Inside & Outside Sales & Marketing positions. Upon receiving his real estate license in 2000, he joined his grandfather’s real estate company as a Real Estate Agent, for Roland D. Ptak & Associates. His grandfather, Roland D. Ptak, a long time real estate agent & broker in Arizona, looked to develop a few hundred acres of residential & commercial acreage he purchased with partners during the RTC days and needed Aaron’ help. When funding fell through for the multi-million dollar project, he decided to join CBRE (formerly CB Richard Ellis) where from 2004 to 2014 Aaron enjoyed a wide range of real estate sales experience. He first started as a member of the Energy Services team, a group within the CBRE Global Corporate Services division. This team ranked among the top teams in the Phoenix office in 2004, representing Shell Oil Products US, managing the sale and disposition of nearly 200 gas station sites in several western states over 18 months. The total transaction value reached $133 million. Aaron later joined the land team where he focused on the analysis, acquisition and disposition of land sites for clients in most of the 15 counties throughout the state of Arizona. In 2006-2008 Aaron was heavily involved in Northwest Corner of the state around the Hoover Dam & Kingman area in Mohave County. Over the years, he has represented private banks, the FDIC and various private land owners of all sizes in the sale of nearly 2,000 acres. In January 2011 Aaron combined his land sales expertise with one of the CBRE Retail Properties teams that specialized in retail development opportunities and landlord and tenant agency. He worked to facilitate new site acquisitions for retail centers in all Arizona markets, performed anchored shopping center leasing and standalone retail building sales, leasing and tenant representation in the Phoenix Metro Area market. In 2014 Aaron left CBRE to return to his grandfather’s company, Roland D. Ptak & Associates, with an opportunity to take over the brokerage & management responsibilities of the various family owned land, office & industrial properties. With the passing of his grandfather in 2016, Aaron continues with his family real estate responsibilities and now looks forward to expanding his real estate experience by joining Telis to pursue new real estate opportunities.
